Admission Requirements

  1. Online upload of the following documents is required: - Passport size color photograph - Current CV - All Mark sheets/Degree Certificates (10th Standard onwards) - Standardized Examination certificate- CSIR, UGC, GATE etc. (If applicable) - A Statement of Purpose (1500 words maximum)– stating why you are interested in this Program, your strengths as a student for this multi-disciplinary program, what you expect to gain from it and your future career plans.
  2. Stage one involves screening of received applications for completeness, accuracy and authenticity. Screening is done to ensure that the applicant has met the minimum eligibility criteria for applying and that an application is complete in all respects, including the Statement of Purpose (SoP). Applications that are found to be incomplete are rejected at this stage. Stage two consists of an interview. Those applicants whose applications pass the first stage are invited to appear before the C-PACT Selection Committee for an interview. The marked components are 20 marks for the SoP, and 30 marks for the interview. Stage three involves evaluation of the SoP and interview performance, creation of a merit list, and declaration of result. The interview (30 marks) will involve conversations about the candidate’s academic trajectory, domain knowledge, and academic or practice ideas as articulated in the Statement of Purpose.
